Red appears to be female, when in reality, he is a- well, he. He gets along with other members of society (as he is a respected member) well, especially women. Very few know of his secret of being a male. Only Wolf (Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood) knows of his true identity.

His magic item is his red cloak, which he wears on a daily basis.

Red fears the Red Queen with all his being, and makes every attempt to avoid the mention of her or to be in her presence. He behaves well and plays out his intended role.
